KHUN exists to bring centuries of Arab thought on health, place and human flourishing into restorative environments designed for modern life.
Our first expression is a 48-hour reset in Fujairah.
Restoration begins with the environment. Architecture, landscape, rhythm and selective human guidance are brought together to create the conditions for wellbeing.
The Experience
A different rhythm.
Arrival begins in the afternoon and the experience unfolds over two nights.
The days are shaped by natural light, thermal contrast, movement through the landscape and long, unfilled hours. There are no programmes to follow and no pressure to fill the time.
The environment does most of the work.
The Philosophy
An older understanding of wellbeing.
Centuries before wellbeing became an industry, physicians and scholars across the medieval Arab world understood architecture, landscape, light and daily rhythm as part of the healing environment.
The bimaristan—the historic hospital tradition of the Arab and Islamic world—was designed around this understanding. Thinkers including Al-Razi, Ibn Sina and Al-Balkhi developed a rich body of thought on health, place, habit and human flourishing.
KHUN draws from this inheritance, bringing its underlying principles into a contemporary experience for modern life.

KHUN’s first site will open with a limited number of stays.
Each experience is private and designed for one or two guests over forty-eight hours. Opening dates and reservation details will be shared first with those who have requested an invitation.
The reset begins with a conversation. Tell us what you are returning from.
